1. Controller

The controller responsible for processing your personal data in connection with this website is:

Gerwin Weiher
E-mail: hello@abteilung83.com
Website: https://missionctl.sh

2. What data we collect

2.1 The missionctl tools (desktop apps)

The missionctl CLI/TUI tools run entirely on your local machine. No data from your email, calendar, tasks, notes, budget, or social accounts is ever transmitted to our servers. All data is stored locally in SQLite databases on your computer. We have no access to it.

2.2 This website (missionctl.sh)

When you visit this website, our hosting provider may log standard server access logs including:

  • IP address (anonymized where possible)
  • Browser type and version
  • Pages visited and timestamp
  • Referring URL

These logs are retained for a maximum of 30 days and used solely to diagnose technical issues. We do not use third-party analytics or tracking pixels. Fonts are served from this site itself — no Google Fonts or other external CDNs.

2.3 Purchase data (polar.sh)

Purchases are processed by polar.sh, an independent payment processor. When you purchase a missionctl product, polar.sh collects and processes your payment information (name, email, payment details) under their own Privacy Policy. We receive only a notification of the purchase (product, amount, and your email address) to fulfill your order.

3. Legal basis for processing

We process personal data only where we have a legal basis:

  • Contractual necessity (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) — order fulfillment after purchase
  • Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) — server access logs for security and uptime
  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) — any future optional analytics, if you opt in

4. Cookies

This website uses only a single essential cookie to remember your cookie notice acknowledgement. We do not currently use analytics or tracking cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details.

5. Data retention

  • Server access logs: 30 days
  • Purchase records (via polar.sh): per polar.sh retention policy
  • Order confirmation emails: until you request deletion
