Linux support via Thunderbird — reads your default Thunderbird profile's local mbox files, sends via that account's own SMTP server. Currently in testing on real hardware; feedback and bug reports welcome. Known limits for now: mbox format only, inbox only, no attachments on send, and no draft-saving or delete/mark-unread from mailctl (avoids writing into a file Thunderbird may have open). See the docs for setup.

Full-featured terminal UI for browsing, threading, and managing your inbox. Keyboard-driven, fast, no mouse required.

Compose new emails or reply to threads directly from the terminal. Supports template variables for personalization.

Apple Mail & Thunderbird Sync

Syncs your inbox to a local SQLite database — Apple Mail on macOS, Thunderbird on Linux (beta, in testing). All data stays on your machine — no IMAP credentials sent anywhere.

Command Palette

Press ":" and type an action by name — new message, sync, unread filter — instead of memorizing shortcuts. Live-filtered as you type.

inbox	List recent inbox messages — sender, subject, date, read status, body preview
search_email	Search emails by keyword across subject, sender, and body
email_thread	Retrieve all messages in a thread, matched by subject
send_email	Send an email — disabled by default: without MAILCTL_MCP_ALLOW_SEND=1 it only saves a draft for you to review
draft_email	Save an email to Drafts for review before sending
sync_inbox	Sync the inbox from your mail client into the local cache
